Aquatic Life
I have a goal on aquatic life. I think it is a pretty wide ranged goal. That is part of the reason I got it. The main subject I want to touch on is the Manatee. They have a couple of names. The other names for them would be sea cow, and dugongs. These creatures are awesome. They are also massive creatures at that. They can weigh 3,500 pounds (1,600 kilograms). They can also eat 100 pounds (45 kilograms) of plants in a day. They feed on water plants. Its upper lip is divided into halves, which close like pliers on the plants. A sea cow has light to dark gray skin, with bristly hairs scattered over its body. Its front legs look similar to paddles. It tail is rounded. They don’t have hind legs. These huge but graceful creatures play an essential part in our ecosystem. They eat the large weeds that clutter up bodies of water. That is why I want to study them.
